When it comes to deciding on the final spec slot for your Age of Wonders 3 gameplay experience, personal playstyle and common encounter scenarios can greatly influence your choice. For me, I always opt for the Air Master specialization, as it allows me to spread arctic cities across the map while utilizing air elemental summons to augment my physical damage with shocking damage. This approach also addresses a common issue many players face when trying to hold Arctic cities, which are often despised by Tigrans due to their aversion to cold climates.

One of the key benefits of Air Master is its ability to utilize the Seeker spell, which maximizes damage output from monster hunter, Tigran Shredder, and mounted archers. Additionally, this specialization makes it easy to summon a disposable scout via the Zephyr Bird, providing an alternative to Warlord scouts with explorer tacked on. Although Warlord scouts are capable in their role, they could be replaced by Bezerkers or Monster Hunters.

On a minor note, Explorer also offers mild benefits to Tigran's racial T3 ability, The Sphinx, which complements the warlords' physical damage-focused gameplay with a potent fire damage area of effect.

The Irir Adept specialization has three key effects on the Tigran Warlord: it enables early army mobilization due to explorer, allows for early capitalization on Monster hunters using Seeker once they're researched, and provides a solid foundation for experimentation and synergy exploration. Through self-experimentation and research, I've discovered that this specialization offers significant benefits for Tigrans, particularly when combined with Air Master.
